AbstractThe main purpose of the research was to determine correlation between school administrators' organizational power sources and teachers' organizational citizenship behaviors in primary schools. The research was a correlational survey model study. 275 participants were randomly chosen for the research. The data were collected by "Administrators' Organizational Power Sources Scale" and "Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale". For data analysis, descriptive statistics, and multiple regression analysis were used. According to the obtained data, the primary school teachers included in the study highly displayed organizational citizenship behaviors. The participants' views on organizational citizenship behaviors did not vary in terms of variables but their views on sources of power in organizations vary in terms of seniority and field of study. The primary school teachers thought school administrators fully used power sources at a high level. According to them, school administrators used legitimate power the most and the following respectively: expert power, coercive power, referent power and reward power the least. When administrators' power sources were collectively considered, there was a moderate positive correlation between the teachers' views about organizational citizenship behaviors and administrators' power sources. However, when the other variables were examined, there was no correlation between the power sources except for coercive power and organizational citizenship behaviors. When the other variables were examined, there was a moderate positive correlation between coercive power and organizational citizenship behaviors. (As Provided).
