Abstract | The results of experimental research of the athletes' psychomotor skills in high jumps, carried out on the basis of the analysis of the specificity of the sport and the principal mental and physiological regularities in the athlete's body. The main goal of the practical methodology of teaching and improvement of athletes' motor abilities was to shape up time, space and strength discrimination sensitivity of skilled jumpers during training sessions. The experimental methodology of improvement of the core psychomotor skills referred to the multistage sensory method adjusted to the specifics of the sport, with a focus on the development of athletes' abilities to accurately differentiate and reproduce different microintervals of time, efforts and space in the main phases and key parts of competitive movement. The nature of the jumper activity was considered in respect to both the temporal and spatial characteristics of the main sensorimotor skills, and the indicators of mental and intellectual activity. The paper contains a scheme of structural management of the jumper's movements in jump phases with regard to the basic movement characteristics. Results of the experiment conducted with the study group athletes have reliably confirmed the efficiency of the multistage sensory methodology of development of psychomotor skills. (Autor). |
